THE STORY BEHIND
Africa has always been of one my favourites themes. Here, you find the most striking looking animals, which are very interesting for me as an artist. The lion, giraffe, elephany and zebra: as a child, these are almost the first animal you learn to know. But, what about of all their subspecies? For instance, there are like 9 subspecies of zebras, all different from each other. With time, I love to show you all those differences, giving the African world another dimension.

But, that's not the only reason: African animals are, just like other exotic species, nowadays highly threatened, mostly because of poaching. With every African animal painting, I want to create some awareness about their decreasing numbers and conservation status. And, how we should protect these magnificent creatures instead of stealing their lives for human pleasure. It's just wrong in every way.

All of the original African wildlife artworks are painted with the most HQ materials, which means that the colours will keep their original tones for like 75-100 years: this is because of their excellent lightfastness.
