THE STORY BEHIND

Can you imagine a more royal looking horse than compact baroque breeds, like a grey dappled Andalusian horse or the fairytale-like Friesian? Baroque breeds are one of the oldest breeds, which often can be seen on paintings from centuries ago. What I personally adore about these horses is their classic yet majestic appearance: they immediatelty know how to make a statement by just being their nobles selves. When I rode a purebred Andalusian horse in Seville, I was immediately enchanted by this magical stallion, like a dream coming true.

And, what about all their important roles in cultural activities, like the Andalusian breed in the south of Spain during the Feria? Or, the Alter Real in Portugal as the ultimate royal horse? As if you're looking at living history. Do you love to give your rustic, modern or even Mediterreanean interior a classic touch? Then find your favourite baroque horse paintings in watercolor here.

BEST MATERIALS & ANIMAL FRIENDLY

All of the baroque horse artworks are painted with the most HQ materials, which means that the colours will keep their original tones for like 75-100 years: this is because of their excellent lightfastness. During the process only synthethic brushes are and will be used, making all of these baroque horse paintings completely animal friendly.
