1. SMALL ORIGINALS
SMALL, BUT FINE
An illustration is the ‘little brother’ of the bigger originals. These pieces are playful-realistic small-sized artworks and ideal when you want to have your own or favourite painted animal immortalized in a subtle way. Think of your own dog, horse or cat or even your favourite garden bird. These option is also very suitable for a diptych or triptych to create a lovely collage. Or, even as a present.

2. MID-SIZED ORIGINALS
SUBTLY STRIKING
Not as big as the statement pieces, but big enough to leave an impression: the mid-size pieces are perfect to be catchy in a subtle way. A portrait of your own dog or horse? Or, your favourite animal?
The mid-sized portraits are big enough to have your own animal painted in a realistic way without losing too much details. You can choose for a full-body painting, but also, if you prefer more realistic, a head portrait.

Statement pieces are, because of their big size, the most exclusive ones in this watercolour category. Because of their big sizes, these pieces know how to make a statement, especially because of their ‘collaboration’ with natural-born eye catching animals.

Think of your own animal, like a horse, or probably your ultimate favourite, such as a bull, zebra or tiger, painted in a minimalistic-realistic style. With these sizes, it doesn’t really what you choose. Because whatever you wish, these sizes know how to stand out…

GOOD TO KNOW
Most high-quality & vegan materials

Every artwork, illustrations and paintings, will be created with the most high-quality materials, such as paper from Winsor & Newton, Arches & Fabriano, but also painting brands like Rembrandt, Daniel Smith and Old Holland. These quality brands are known for their excellent lightfastness, which means the colours will remain their brightness for at least 75-100 years (of course under the right circumstances, such as avoiding direct sunlight). Every work will be painted with only synthetic brushes, which means the painting process is completely cruelty-free and vegan. And, by every sold artwork, a small part of the profit will be donated to animal rescue organisations: together, we can help nature & animals!

Painting process & shipment
​
Artworks on commission usually take a few weeks, depending on the size of the piece and other artworks (on commission) in progress that needs to be finished. Of course you will be kept informed from start to finish. The artwork will come with a certificate of authenticity and -if wanted- a passe-partout (this only counts for sizes up to 56×76 cm). The passe-partouts have standard sizes, which makes it very easy to find a matching frame for your upcoming artwork. Paintings and illustrations won’t come with a frame because of the fragility of the glass during transport. Your artwork will be shipped registered and insured according to value.

You buy more than decades of dedication, experiences and exercises, years of frustration and euphoric moments when you finally reach the result you were looking for, especially since watercolour is the most difficult medium to master. That is the real time for creating an artwork, not the amount of working hours. You're buying a piece of heart, a part of the artists soul...
