In the world of canines, one category has always been my favourite: hounds & hunting dogs. Growing up with several Golden Retrievers, it wasn’t that hard to fall in love with these floppy-eared bears and to feel the connection with this classic theme. 

 

What I mostly adore about hunting dogs is simply their chic and noble appearances, whether it’s an English Foxhound combined with a horse or just a loyal looking Spaniel or Retriever. Not only do they give us a familiar feeling, but also form the perfect match for everyone who loves to give their interior a classic, even equestrian touch. No surprise here why you often see hunting dogs on oil paintings, hanging in nobles estates and mansions in the countryside.
