You see them everywhere: portraits of hunting dogs in a heavy, oil-painting style. Beautiful, yet I wanted to do something different. I set out to create a collection that shows the elegance of hunting dog breeds, but places them in a more modern, urban setting.
The Canine Heritage collection is made up of editorial portraits of hunting dogs, inspired by fashion illustration. Its hallmarks are solid backgrounds in refined old money colours such as ochre, burgundy and navy, or lounge-style settings, such as a sleeping dog on a striped sofa.
