Although I initially wanted to focus on the traditional, Mediterranean countryside with my art concept, I learned -by own experience- that our feeling always shift over the seasons. In spring, we can dream for hours of the slow Mediterranean life, sleeping underneath an olive tree close to an old farm home in Spain or Italy. When September starts, we literally 'fall' in love with the coziness of the autumn season, like the Bavarian pine woods in golden light, as well the magic of snowy landscapes in winter, imagining yourself immediately in a charming chalet in the Swiss & Austrian Alps. I therefore find it endlessly inspiring to explore how each country breathes its own version of refinement and tradition.
