I have been fortunate enough to experience this countless times, primarily because my parents always took me (and my brother) into the woods from a very young age, accompanied by Golden Retrievers. This is where my love for hunting dogs began, sparked by their classic and chic appearance. While other breeds are often chosen specifically as 'one's own pet,' hunting dogs possess a universal power—they are frequently chosen for aesthetic reasons, such as enhancing a rustic or aristocratic touch within an interior.
My greatest source of inspiration for this collection is the early morning walk through the misty woods and the purity of nature, especially after a rainfall. For this reason, I wanted to portray the traditional hunting dog in a way that is less 'static' and more artistic and illustrative. Capturing a fleeting, pure moment, just like the morning itself. This makes them traditional, yet modern and contemporary.
