THE STORY BEHIND
My art concept is mainly based on the countryside, especially because that's what I call home since I was born, grewing up near the forest in The Netherlands. But, just as in real life, I like to travel, even when it is in my mind, captured on paper. This collection is dedicated to these 'travel moments', focusing on exotic wildlife from Africa, Asia and even South America. Here, you find paintings of zebras, giraffes, tigers and some tropical birds, like the tucan.

Because these animals are painted in the same style as the countryside themes, like warm earth tones and true to nature look, these wildlife paintings are perfect for a modern or even rustic interior.
