THE STORY BEHIND

Enchanting forests full of beech trees, oaks, spruces & wildlife: I grew up near the forest and my most dreamy memories can be found in this magical place. Every season here, whether it's spring or winter, is beautiful. Even the smell in the woodlands after a moment of rain is a moment of happiness for me. Or, when I went to the forest on a summer evening on the back of a horse, seeing grazing deer in the meadows: even in my thoughts, this is my happy place.

I wanted to capture my own memories of the forest: for me, that is this collection of British wildlife, actually representing all of the forest animals you find in the woodlands of Central Europe. From the most beautiful songbirds and drumming woodpeckers to bigger species like the hare, red fox, pheasant and deer. All of these forest animal paintings in watercolor are painted in warm colours and with a mimimalistic background: perfect to give your interior a rustic, warm & cozy touch.

BEST MATERIALS & ANIMAL FRIENDLY

All of the British forest wildlife artworks are painted with the most HQ materials, which means that the colours will keep their original tones for like 75-100 years: this is because of their excellent lightfastness. During the process only synthethic brushes are and will be used, making all of these British wildlife watercolor paintings completely animal friendly.
