Draft horse art

When I was young, I've always looked at draft horses as if they were the biggest teddy bears. Fluffy ears, gentle snouts and even more gentle characters: how can you not love these lovely giants? These horses are one of the most authentic breeds with a charming, medieval look. I love those atmospheres, like seeing misty meadows in a hilly landscape, like the Ardennes in Belgium and France or even the English countryside, combined with some grazing draft horses. Or, when pulling wood in the forest: what's more pure countryside than this?

Draft horse paintings in watercolor are therefore excellent to give your rustic home classic & farm-inspired touch. These horses are tough-looking, which makes them also the perfect match for an industrial interior. You don't necessarily have to be an equestrian to find some adoration for these horses. These ones are the machines from the past, captured in watercolor.

All of the draft horse artworks are painted with the most HQ materials, which means that the colours will keep their original tones for like 75-100 years: this is because of their excellent lightfastness. During the process only synthethic brushes are and will be used, making all of these draft horse watercolor paintings completely animal friendly.
