THE STORY BEHIND
Christmas is definitely one of my favourite moments of the year: it's the warm and romantic atmosphere that gives the cold winter days a cozy feeling. In our family for instance we've always had a typical classic Christmas around the fireplace and classical music. And, with some luck: snow! Something I would like to bring, at least the feeling of it, into my Christmas animal art as well.
This collection is dedicated to a couple of British, North American & Scandinavian wildlife species closely related to Christmas. Here, you find birds like the European robin or American chickadee, but also the polar bear and some deer. Because of the cozy and traditional look, these forest wildlife paintings are perfect for a rustic or even modern interior due to the minimalistic style.
